Bethany Lutheran Home employs a "full-time" chaplain, Reverend Dennis Tranberg. Reverend Tranberg has been in the ministry since 1974 and has been serving Bethany Home since 2001.

Bethany Home begins the day with Chaplain Dennis sharing morning prayer for all residents and staff throughout the Home via the sound system.

Bethany's Chaplain provides numerous spiritual offerings for the Bethany resident, which include: Two weekly Bible studies and two weekly prayer groups, Wednesday and Sunday Worship services, a weekly S.A.I.N.T.S. club, and a book reading group.

Chaplain Dennis ministers individually with Bethany residents by private visits, sharing prayers, and offering Holy Communion. He respects each resident's personal religious tradition and spiritual faith.

Chaplain Dennis leads bedside Memorial Services inviting the presence of Bethany staff and resident families. Chaplain Dennis plans an annual Memorial Service and invites resident families to attend.
